AbilityDash

The Teleporter is an assault hero who wins through surprise. He appears where nobody expects him, attacks from the flank and leaves before the enemy can answer. Positioning matters especially for this hero: a good Teleporter knows in advance where he will move next.

How Dash works

  • Dash is a directed move: the hero instantly appears at the chosen spot in the direction you are looking.
  • The spot must be reachable — in line of sight and with room for the hero. Dash does not carry you through walls.
  • After a move, the ability needs time to recharge.

When the Teleporter shines

  • Flanking or getting behind an enemy who is busy with your team.
  • Moving quickly to a better position — onto high ground or behind cover.
  • Getting out of the line of fire when a fight turns against you.
  • Finishing off wounded enemies who try to retreat.

Playing with the team

The Teleporter works best when the enemy is busy with someone else. Let the Tank or the rest of the team hold the enemy’s attention from the front while you come in from the side. A Scout shows where the enemies stand — with that, it is easier to pick a Dash spot and not land right in front of the other team.

Scout — recon tells you where it is safe to go.

Tank — draws the enemy’s attention while you flank.

Beginner tips

  • If you use Dash to go in, plan a way out on foot.
  • Don’t move blindly into unknown ground — look first.
  • Pick a spot next to cover so you can wait out the return fire.
  • Try Dash in Training: it is the easiest way to learn where it can take you.
