Rocket in Snay Strike: hero guide

How to play the Rocket in Snay Strike: how the RPG works, which targets to fire at, how to flush enemies out of cover and not hit yourself.

AbilityRPG

The Rocket is a demolisher. His strength is pressure on positions: one good rocket can make the enemy leave cover or scatter. The Rocket doesn’t have to top the kill count, but he is often the one who opens the way for the team.

How the RPG works

  • When you press the ability button, the Rocket takes out an RPG with one rocket. After the shot, the previous weapon comes back.
  • After the shot, the ability needs time to recharge.
  • The blast deals area damage and is dangerous at close range — including for the Rocket himself.

When the Rocket shines

  • Against an enemy dug in behind cover or in a corner.
  • Against a group of enemies standing close together.
  • Right before the team pushes into a position: the blast can make the defenders fall back.

Playing with the team

A rocket works best when you know where to fire. A Scout reveals enemies behind walls, and a revealed target is easier to aim at. After a blast the enemy usually changes position, and that is a good moment for a Teleporter to flank or for the whole team to push.

Scout — revealed enemies are easier to aim at.

Teleporter — flanks while the enemy dodges the blast.

Beginner tips

  • Don’t fire a rocket at an enemy right next to you — the blast can hit you too.
  • Aim at a wall or the floor next to the enemy: the area damage can reach him without a direct hit.
  • Don’t spend the rocket on a lone target in the open if your regular weapon can finish him more easily.
  • Right after the shot, switch back to your main weapon and finish off whoever ran out of cover.
